Species: Psilocybe cubensis
Strain/Variety: Iceberg
Origins: Iceberg is an albino mutation associated with Thai Lipa Yai, a cubensis variety with roots in Thailand. Through selective cultivation over multiple generations, Iceberg developed into a distinctive variety of its own, best known for the frosty appearance that inspired its name. Its unusual look has made it a favourite among collectors and mushroom enthusiasts drawn to less conventional cubensis varieties.
Characteristics: Iceberg definitely lives up to its name. These mushrooms are known for their pale, almost icy colouring and thick caps that can develop a distinctive cracked or textured surface as they mature. White to cream-coloured stems complete the frosted look, while blue bruising can create a striking contrast against the otherwise pale mushroom. No two fruits look exactly alike, but Iceberg is generally pretty easy to recognize in a crowd.
Potency and Effects: Iceberg has a reputation for combining notable potency with a well-rounded psychedelic experience. Users often describe an uplifted or euphoric mood alongside prominent visual changes, introspective thoughts, and an altered sense of their surroundings. Nature can seem especially vivid, while music and art may feel richer, more immersive, or take on new personal meaning. Depending on the experience, Iceberg can move between energetic appreciation of the world around you and a deeper, more inward-looking headspace.
Use in a safe, supervised setting until you are familiar with how psilocybin affects you.

Drug Interactions: Psilocybin may interact with prescription medications and other substances. Some medications, including certain antidepressants such as SSRIs, may alter the effects of psilocybin, but individual responses can vary. Combining substances that affect serotonin may also carry a risk of serotonin toxicity (serotonin syndrome), particularly with certain medications or combinations. If you take prescription medication, speak with a qualified healthcare professional about possible interactions. Do not stop or change a prescribed medication in order to use psilocybin without medical guidance.
Storage: Store at room temperature in a dry environment away from direct sunlight.
