Species: Psilocybe cubensis
Strain/Variety: Albino Bluey Vuitton
Origins: Albino Bluey Vuitton comes from the already well-known Bluey Vuitton line, which is said to have been created by cultivator Silly Cybin by crossing Panama with Melmac PE genetics. The albino expression reportedly appeared a couple of generations later and was then worked and stabilized by Basidium Equilibrium, eventually becoming the Albino Bluey Vuitton variety circulating today. With that unusual family tree—and a name that’s pretty hard to forget—it quickly earned attention in the mushroom community.
Characteristics: Albino Bluey Vuitton is a seriously eye-catching mushroom. It typically produces thick, wide stems topped with pale caps that can develop striking blue colouring toward the centre. Blue bruising can become especially noticeable against its otherwise creamy white appearance, giving some fruits a frosted blue-and-white look. Its chunky build and unusual colouring make this one of the more distinctive albino varieties.
Potency and Effects: Albino Bluey Vuitton has developed a reputation for a potent, deeply immersive experience with a strong visual and introspective side. Users commonly describe vivid visual changes, shifts in sensory perception, deep or wandering thoughts, and experiences that can take on an emotional or spiritual quality. It’s particularly popular among psychonauts drawn to mushrooms with a heavier, more inward-looking character and plenty of visual activity.
Use in a safe, supervised setting until you are familiar with how psilocybin affects you.
Dosage Recommendations:
Creative dose: 0.5 grams
Medium recreational dose: 0.75–1.0 grams
Full recreational dose: 1.0–1.5 grams
Do not drive or operate machinery while under the effects of mushrooms. Effects can vary significantly between individuals and doses. Larger amounts may produce intense, uncomfortable, or frightening experiences.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Drug Interactions: Psilocybin may interact with prescription medications and other substances. Some medications, including certain antidepressants such as SSRIs, may alter the effects of psilocybin, but individual responses can vary. Combining substances that affect serotonin may also carry a risk of serotonin toxicity (serotonin syndrome), particularly with certain medications or combinations. If you take prescription medication, speak with a qualified healthcare professional about possible interactions. Do not stop or change a prescribed medication in order to use psilocybin without medical guidance.
Storage: Store at room temperature in a dry environment away from direct sunlight.
