Origins: Flipper is a unique mushroom isolation credited to cultivator Jik Fibs, bringing together TAT Black Cap (TBC) and Hawkeye PE genetics. With one side of its family tree contributing striking albino characteristics and the other bringing the chunky build associated with PE varieties, Flipper has developed an identity that’s pretty easy to pick out from the crowd.

Characteristics: Flipper combines the pale, eye-catching appearance of TAT Black Cap with the thick, meaty structure of Hawkeye PE. Expect sturdy stems, substantial caps, and creamy white to pale colouring, often accompanied by noticeable blue bruising. The combination gives Flipper a dense, almost sculpted appearance that makes it one of the more distinctive modern cubensis varieties.

Potency and Effects: With TAT Black Cap and Hawkeye PE behind it, Flipper has earned a reputation as a heavier-hitting variety. Users often describe prominent visuals paired with a deep, all-over “body melt” sensation and a headspace that can feel calm, immersive, and distinctly spiritual. Feelings of connection and peaceful introspection are also commonly associated with Flipper, giving it an interesting mix of visual intensity and laid-back, inward-looking energy.
